When my sunroof fitted car is parked on a slight downslope and it rains , the overhead cosole fills with water, you can actually see the water sloshing around in the left and right courtesy lights. When you go round a corner it then pours out the light fitting.
Any ideas what needs to be done to the sunroof to stop this?
It also affecting the radio I'm sure as the water goes all over the place and into the central air vent , the radio now freezes and Cd s dont eject and the sceen goes blank. ARRGH:puzzled:
Any help appreciated

Mine did that at 6 weeks old and took 3 attempts to fix it. Don't assume it's the sunroof as I haven't got one, it was the seal at the top offside of the windscreen.

Ok thanks for that, would not have suspected windscreen, wow.
Any other incidents of this nature?

the common problem with sunroofs is the drain pipes/holes getting blocked with gunge, etc, especially at this time of year. The drainage pipes are to take the water away from the sunroof channels to under the wings via the A pillars, etc

the water cannot run away and just backs up and overflows elsewhere.

don't know if the mini sunroof is this normal design for drainage ? but you can check.

normally it is the drainage holes at the front, one on each side that seem to block easily, and best way is to gently push a piece of long wire down until unblocked.

Cheers Iain
I will push a guitar string down the holes today and see what happens.
