Had my wheel bearing replaced but on getting the car home I noticed there was a chip in the wheel which was taken off to get to the hub. The garage have a policy of accepting no liability to damage when the vehicle is on their premises, fair enough, and usually they're excellent.
I'm going to give the chip a touch up myself (as in the future I hope to get all 4 wheels refurbed) so I was wondering if anyone knew the official name of the colour, or the code associated with it.
Thanks for the help

What style of wheel do you have? I think my metalic anthracite R108's are in a colour called 'Night Fever Black'. Will double check tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply. I have S-spokes. I'm not sure if anthracite is a standard colour as the dealer said the wheels had been refurbed prior to me buying the car, but he did say they were refurbed to the original colour.

I certainly don't think that's reasonable (if they've done damage) and it is no defence legally. If that's their attitude then although you may have a claim at law it may be a whole load of hassle to get your rights.
It's one reason why I use the local BMW Agents where if there's any possibilty of fault on their part it's fixed straight away with no argument (as did happen on one occasion).

Yeah I probably could get it sorted but foresee a whole load of hassle, which at present don't have the time for. Its not too bad, still annoying of course as I didn't do it, but I'm happy enough to touch it up myself
