Does anyone know where I can get an official MINI front Euro plate adapter here in the US? Is it possible to order from Euro and have it shipped state side?
I had one for my R53, but can't find ANYTHING for an R56... :(
Thanks!

The Euro number plate holder is.... nothing.

Item 5 only exists for the Chinese market. Here is my UK Mini plate - just stuck onto the front bumper trim with mounting tape.

Hi orionizer
I asked the dealer about one of these just 2 days ago. Although there is one fitted to our 2007 Cooper, he said they are no longer fitted to UK cars and the part has been discontinued.
I wanted one to try and modify, making it a few inches shorter than standard. That's because in the UK although there is a standard size for the plates, they can be smaller and the overall size is dictated by the required dimensions of the digits and the spaces between and around the digits. The registration (licence) number we have on the Cooper has fewer digits than standard and includes a couple of number 1s, so the overall length of the plate is allowed to be a fair bit shorter than standard.
What size is the US-spec plate holder? Maybe I could use one of those - if I can get one...
cheers

Does anyone know where to get a thin/slimline euro front plate frame? I'm in the US and I have yet to find one.
