Hey Everyone,

I'm a new MINI owner and also new to the Leamington Spa area, and I'm looking to find a good, independent specialist for my '02 R50 Cooper. I'm keen on getting a full fluid service (brake, coolant and oil) and an equivalent of inspection 2 done. I've had a bad experience already (I've only had the car for a few weeks mind, but it's already happened!) with a Cooper dealership so I'm not looking for anything like that!

I'm not too sure if this kind of option exists, but are there any 'rent-a-hoist' type facilities in the area? I'm Canadian originally and near where I grew up there were shops where you could rent an inspection pit/hoist/jack and a bay and then work on your car over a given amount of time. I'd love to find something like that!

Hey Alan,

I haven't yet used Crackley Garage yet. I've been doing my own jobs and have had an inspection 2 done by mini oxford as I work near there. While they cut me a deal I don't think I'll go back since they didn't notice half of the issues I have with my car (some large, some small).

I'll post my impressions on here as soon as I try them out!
