Hi Folks,

I recently replaced my front speakers, which is quite easy, and I also bought an AUX In Cable (see picture attached) for my Radio Boost with CD changer and tape slot.
According to my research it should work all out fine, but after mounting today it doesn't.

My car is a Mini One R50 registration date in January 2002 with Radio Boost (FM/AM, Tape, CD Changer) type Philips PH7030 (see picture attached).

The cable fits perfectly into the slot next to the slot for the CD Changer. (It does not fit into the slot for the CD changer).

I mounted everything and plugged in my smart phone to see whether I can choose AUX from the MODE button. I had only the 'old' choices with FM, CD and Tape.

I disconnected the Headunit from power supply and took out the fuse. Then I waited for several minutes before re-connecting and hoped I can choose AUX now, but still no success.

To my knowlegde the radios with the flat pins, and not the "Bavaria" pins, all support AUX in.

Does anyone have any idea? Any help is very much appreciated.

Thanks,
smile
