Here it goes...

I have just been to my local Incar solutions shop for price on having a lead fitted to the radio so I can plug in my iPhone and listen to tunes :) Whilst I wait for them to get back to me on that I need to know wheres best to have my phone situated so I can change songs if I choose too? And also what handsfree unit I need that will hold my iPhone3GS. I not sure where the unit will sit to be honest as the dash isnt smooth. Any suggestions,Links etc would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Parrot mki9200,

I put my phone in the cup holder and the LCD screen is at the top right of the windscreen..

I have my remote on the bottom of the steering wheel, but it does get in the way sometimes on sharp corners.. But I guess you get used to it!

I absolutely love this add on.. It does everything I wanted it to! - calls, music & apps. And it can pair and accept calls from 2 iPhones in the car, wirelessly!

I use a standard phone holder, and use an FM transmitter to broadcast the signal to my radio & use a bluetooth headset. £25 all in and all purchased on fleabay, much cheaper than having it hardwired

I have an FM transmitter aswell, works a treat in my car!

I am at the end of my teether now :( We bought an Aux lead from the shop, £30, My husband connected it to the rear of the stereo and tried it out...Dont work!!! :( No Aux

We went back to the shop and explained this didnt work, so the guy in the shop made some calls. He says because the stereo is older than the car??!!! The car is 2006, think he said the stereo is 2003...I will need something else...a box unit for £55. Now this is getting expensive!! All I would like is to listen to my music on my iPhone through the speakers in the car without it burning a huge hole in my pocket.

My husband even made a lead with Capacitors and resistors and this STILL didnt work

Help is needed please
