I have a 2008 Clubman with 55,579 miles. The engine light came on when i started my car at work to head home. The weather was in the 30's, usual gasoline fill up, no problem driving into work, so I'm wondering what the issue could be? I turned the engine off and on a couple times, checked the fluids and gave the fuel gas cap a twist til it clicked, but the light stayed on for the 15 mile drive home. Apparently this symbol/light of the engine is not an urgent warning because it did not come back on this morning.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
