I have bought some works GP 18" alloys for my wife's mini. She does not like them (typical) so I am going to sell them.

They have corroded around the edge so I am going to get them refurbed.

I dont know what colour to get them done for best re sale value. A lot of people have their alloys gloss black, or anthracite. What colour do you think would be the best to paint them?

How much would I get for them once all nice and new.

I would keep them standard, and possibly try selling them as they are. Rather than spending all that money getting them refurbed.

I could not sell as they are as the new buyer would need them refurbed. no chunks out just water got behind the polished bit and its pulled the laquer away.

I can get the full set done for £100 as a family member has a wheels refurb company.

Just cant decide which colour. I have seen a lot of minis with black alloys and I think they look nice, but would they sell

Again personally if they are oem whells then have them done std. I think changing the colour will put people off. And if they want to change the colour that much then they will pay to change them. How much are you planning on selling them for? Have you compared the price you want against a price of new oem or replica wheels?

i think they are replicas as the black is shiny and i hear the original wheels are matt black.

I was thinking in the region of £300 once fully complete. what do you think. I could get some part worn tyres fitted if it would make them sell quicker.

I would not pay for refurbished GP wheels, better to keep them stock as-is, that's how people want them....original.

Even if it is free to refurbish, better to keep original.
