are these units fake this guy is selling ? is this the going rate or a bit cheap and he has like 10 of each in stock lol

I have purchased one which is supposed to be arriving next week so I will let you know.

It is a good price and they claim to be genuine ones so I guess I'm covered by eBay and Paypal if it is fake/poor quality

Don't buy it, these guys have been advertising the fake units for ages, these are stock dashboards wrapped in carbon fibre effect stickers, they'll sell 4-5 units cheap as soon as anyone complains they shut the account, it's probably the same guy I contacted a few years ago I think from Essex. The stickers do peel of eventually. Waste of money.

If they're genuine, they'll be bagged with the MINI part number and barcode stickers on - ask for pictures.

I'd be very suspicious at that price either way.

Asked seller and received this:

'They are genuine jcw kits. They are direct from BMW in Germany. Will be with you ASAP. I have dealt with minis for a long time as an owner as well as mini enthusiast.

It will come in a BMW box with all the parts label.'

Taking a punt. I have seen in older posts people have purchased these kits for around the same price and been really pleased. Should be able to tell if they are cheap copies and get my money back from Paypal
