Hi newbie here... joined the forum only a few minutes ago because just last week i bought my 2005 mini one d and had issues with it cutting out for no aparent reason then bringing on the DDE light EML and traction control light, and having put it on our own diagnostic machine (nick self employed mechanic always a good tool to have! lol) and not getting any joy as the problem never came up on it..... thanks to viewing this forum as a guest we sorted its problem with seeing others having the same issue and with just a £12.00 diesel fuel filter replaced and located under the OS rear wheel arch, PROBLEM SOLVED!! she goes like a gud un now!!
So next question i need to ask is will a 2003 taillight bulb holder (rectangular in shape) fit straight onto the wiring on my mini back lights...mine has the L shapeish ones on and id like to know as i have bought some new back taillights which the buld holder in mine wont fit in but the 2003 bulb holder will...so is this a straight forward thing of swapping the circuit board over to the 2003 shape? If that makes sense to anyone!! lol thanks Gemma
