2002 MCS -
My air bag light is on. While I've been told by the Mini dealer that the air bags will still deploy, I don't like that the air bag fault indicator is always illuminated.

Is this a common problem?
Are there easy fixes?
Is this something I can diagnose or is it something I have to take to the dealer?
Any thoughts?

I had this same problem when we bought my missus a Mini One, it is a common problem with the Mini as the wires for the airbag light are under the front seats so as they move backward and forward they can get disturbed.:frown:

Just plug in into the socket in the drivers footwell, scan and clear I had to do it twice but it certainly worked and it only took about 3 mins to do it twice :smile:, and its also there if it ever happens again as well.
