I have had my mini about 9 months now and its time to bite the bullet and dish out for some new rubber.

At the moment it is running pirelli run flats on the rear and dunlop run flats on the front.

But having seen the costs, i was wondering if i could ditch run flats and switch to normal low profile tyres?

Also, lets say i buy tyres runflats or normal, how much would it cost roughly to get them fitted? (I.e- Me buying them off net and getting them fitted at a local garage).

Just been looking myself after being quoted £220 from Mini dealership.

Budget run flats were priced at £110 per tyre fitted and the pirelli eurfori 205/45/r17 cost £157 fitted. I have been told that you can get them cheaper but i needed it replaced quickly.

Alternatively I know someone that changed all four to standard tyres and took all the sensors off.. so that can be done.
