Yesterday night, me and my dad replaced old both left and right tie rod assembly(inner & outer) on both sides. About 6 miles of driving my car's DSC light came on, I'm guessing its telling me my traction control turned off. What might have caused this? is it because its out of alignment?

What might have caused this?

please help! im freaking out!!!!

thanks

Hi ya

Sounds like You need to get it plugged in to a diagnostic tool.

But If you steering wheel was straight before you changed the parts and it's straight now. The stering position seńsor should be ok. If not you need to get the wheels aligned and the steering wheel centered which if OU have been changing suspention and bushes ect you should get done anyway.
4 wheel alignment is well worth it.
If this is all ok you might have damaged one of the wheel sensor have a good look at them check the plugs and wiring first unplug them and plug the back in.

If you happy with everything you can disconnect both battery terminals and touch the terminas together for 30 sec or so and reconnect it.
Set all your tire pressures and reset your tire pressure monitor system all these systems are all connected to each other

Hope this helps

Thank You!

and YESS!!! :D I found the problem, when we have replaced the tie rods "whole assembly" my alignment was messed up really bad and my Mini Cooper detected it, the light came on as an indicator to let me know the traction is off "im guessing" when we got it realigned the DSC light turned off :)))

phewwww was nervous!
