I read on some forums that it was easy to remove the badge off of my car. Just use some fishing line to pry it off. After trying it a few times and the string braking, I figured out this method works on the first generation because the badge is glued on. Apparently ours has two prongs.
I have goggled this but just keep finding the fishing line answer.
