Hi. I got same dilemma. My wheels are different type to yours (R98 split rims) but I think my choice is black with silver rims. Just got to get them done!

Welcome K2roc- congrats on your first MCS. Same colour as mine (though it's gone through a @few@ changes since I bought it!)

Take a look at some of the pics I posted this week on my de-chrome and see the difference between old and new. Hopefully will help you (both) make a decision? If you need any advice feel free to ask

BTW- I see you live in Michigan- I'm a BIG Wings fan so you have the best of both worlds - An MCS and the Red Wings!!! :D

Black rims ! I have dechromed my car, more aggresive look in my opinion.

all black for the track racer look ( if so go light weight) black with chrome = heavy street / euro look

@ mike wright: so i saw one of the post u did on the plasti dip so i did the same and it looks so good but don't know how u got the side mirror covers off! that would be great to know

Never been a fan of all black alloys but to be honest i now have a midnight black mini JCW and it has gloss black 18 inch alloys and i think they look good I think it depends on the base colour of the car some they look good some they dont . As yours is a grey mini I think they would look good.Black alloys do give a more agressive look tho :) you can see my car with the black alloys on my little profile pic :biggrin:

any wheels from the dealers weigh a ton, go for something like Rota's or team dynamics, my spokes weight in at 13kg each and the team dynamics just over 7kg each

here is pic of mine and please excuse the wheel gap :) also dont for get to get rid of the crappy run flats, as the grip is awful and the ride is loud :) good luck
