Hi,

I'm farely new to the MINI world, i recently bought a 2004 MINI cooper. Just a quick question about when i start the vehicle, the EML and engline electronic lights stay on for about 2-3 seconds, is this normal? Or do i have a fault with the engine that i need to get checked?

Regards

Scott

They stay on a few seconds until the system has done a self-check that all is ok, then go out if ok.

Airbag light can be cancelled using this B200 tool below if fault has been corrected or was a temporary glitch:

I sold it for £51 + £5 P&P, only sold it cos I have now bought a Maxidiag that does everything, ABS, Auto Transmission, Air Bags, Engine Faults etc.... so no longer needed.:)

I was thinking of selling mine as I now have an '07 and didn't think it would work with this model.
