Heavy clutch pedal - R53 cooper works

I have just bought a R53 Cooper works ( july 2006) with 40000 miles.
It has been remapped to 230bhp with sports exhaust/ manifold etc.
A great car !
However the clutch pedal is quite ' heavy' - is this normal or a sign of potential problem.
Any advice appreciated.

i thought this when i brought mine 3 years ago but after time you get used to it and it dosnt feel so heavy.

i have had 3 new clutches in mine and they were all the same.

after driving my girlfriends 12 plate ka i almost stalled when i got back in my car because you forget how heavy the clutch actually is in minis.

Yeah have to agree, mine feels heavy. When driving my other half 57 plate Clubman Dooper I feel like I'm slamming my foot to the floor all the time as the clutch is so much lighter.
