I need to carry three bikes on my wife's Clubman. I'm looking at the OEM rack base kit (I don't have roof rails) and probably three of the fork-mount holders (where you remove the fron wheel). I have two small road bikes for my wife and daughter, and one medium road bike for me. I'm also thinking about the "touring bike holder" where the fromt wheel stays on. They are both the same price so it's really just a matter of finding a setup that works.

Is anyone else using a setup like this?

I bought all the pieces (standard MINI crossbars for bare roof) and three Rocky Mounts Euro Pitchfork mounts. I haven't put it together yet, but I'm hopeful. I may have to reverse the middle bike based on the handlebars, but I'll let you know next weekend when I fit it to the car...

OK, got them on. Had to do it with the outside ones forward and the middle one facing back. I didn't cut them down in length, the middle one doesn't extend past the front edge of the roof. Bit of a pain to fit, but not too bad. Pics attached.

Update: We took the car out for a short drive with the three bikes on. Only local roads so we didn't get above about 50mph, but I was pretty impressed with how quiet the setup was.
