I'm looking around at buying a MCS but would like the lumbar support. Do these come standard with the Chili pack on a 52 model?
Also, on a different note I notice some have 3 spoke steering wheels and some 2 spoke. What's the difference there as some cars of that age have different ones. I thought the 3 spoke were added to the facelift version in 2004?

Even the basic Mini One seats usually seem to have lumbar support with the adjustment knob on the side of the seat backrest so would guess it was standard on the MCS sports seats, not seen any without myself.
Many owners retrofit the later 3-spoke steering wheel so this may be why you see some on early cars...........Mini owners love to mod their cars! :)

Thanks for this. Yes, I've been looking around - a lot - today for a MCS and I think most of them have the lumbar support.
Seen a car that I think's pretty good value for money Mini Cooper S in Cherry Red | LPN Automotive (http://bit.ly/wkd68j) (thoughts?) but it doesn't have the 3 spoke wheel - probably never find one that's got everything that I want. I was lucky enough in 04 to buy a brand new Cooper and that was fun going through and adding on stuff - before I knew it I'd spent an extra 5k!!!

Looks good..........if it drives as good as it looks I wouldn't mind that myself!
You can always add the 3 spoke wheel later.
