Hi all

Well ive gone and done it i've kurbed my 19" JCW R129 Gloss Black with Burnished Face Alloy Wheel.

My local wheel refurb guy said no hope of fixing them as their burnished..mini dealer havent phoned back for weeks after chasing. So the question is, has anyone had these repaired like normal alloys wheels?

Second question! The inside back door has had some damage..whilst loading work stuff my husband rammed stuff in and scrapped the door elipse badly and took a chunk out of the "leather" door panel. I'm frightened to ask my dealer how much...any ideas or advice on this? :redface: (besides make my husband pay in other ways ;)

Try asking Lepsons about refurbing the wheels. You'll need to send it away though, and without the tyre attached too. Your Dealer will just want to sell you a new one.

Are they really not able to be done like a normal wheel? If i send the alloy off i have no other wheels haha

They probably can be, as long as the repairer can get the right colour. I can't see any obvious reason why they couldn't be. My BMW/Mini Dealer actually offers an in house refurb service. No idea how long they take - probably depends on the queue. :D

We need to get all 4 done on our 2005 3er convertible as the lacquer is absolutely err wrecked.

That sucks, glad we got the tire and wheel protection.
