Hello i have a Mini Cooper 2001 R50 and the ABS light is on. I had it plugged in to the computer and it said Front right sensor. I changed the sensor but now the ABS light only comes on after around 15mph. Also, sometimes when i brake when the light is Off the ABS kicks whilst slowing down. What is the likely cause of this, could i have damaged the ABS ring or sensor whilst fitting the new one? I need to have the car fixed before Saturday as i am selling it. Help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Loui

Did you buy a cheap sensor or the recommended Siemens Sensor. The cheaper alternatives can cause problems

mini wheel speed sensors are super delicate. did u check the faults again. the driver front wheel speed sensor is notorious for going out.

apologies for the hijack - but when you say 'plugged into the computer' how? With a bought little device and your computer? Or a reader? If either - please give details as I've got loads of little gremlins that need explaining..
many thanks.
