hi guys as anyone got the oil changer that feeds in the dip stick to suck the oil out are they any good whats the best make also where from thanks

never would use one either.

at least removing the plug allows the oil to remove/flush anything sitting at the bottom of the sump..

thats strange as my bmw garage use the oil changer on all the cars

i do all my own oil changes,costs me £40..

if i do need to get a garage to change the oil,and they said we suck it out of the dipstick tube,i'd walk out..

they do suck it now all bmw do quicker

always better to drain the old oil out of the sump plug as all the crud comes out with it.

I do it with my lawnmower and it's now 25 years old and still going strong !!

at the end of the day it depends how long you intend to keep the car.
