Hello

I have a 2007 R56 with what seems to be at a guess a clutch bearing issue.

When in second and turning right (so pretty much is all of the time going round a UK roundabout) the clutch when depressed by around 20mm feels like a curcular grinding feeling on the clutch pedal - the pedal feedback feels like a softer version of the ABS shudder when emergency stopping on the brake.

Any thoughts of what it actually is?

Cheers in advance.

If I understand you correctly, you're getting some pulsation from the clutch pedal, correct?

Could be a number of things - warped clutch disk, warped pressure plate, or misalignment between the engine and transmission due to a failed engine mount. Might also be a problem with the flywheel.

In any case, it's difficult to diagnose 100% until you get in and look at the transmission. Pulsastion through the pedal is a pretty serious problem, I'd get it looked at asap before you damage the transmission shaft or crankshaft.
