Hi
I've just taken delivery of my first Mini, a 12-plate Cooper and, being a woman, need to use my satnav if I'm going to drive anywhere outside of my own town
I don't want to put the suction holder on my windscreen because it leaves that nasty ring mark so was hoping to find some sort of dash-mounted holder for my satnav. I have a Garmin Nuvi 1310 -it's quite slim and is a 4.3-inch display, just a bit bigger than an iphone.
There are loads of different dash-mounted holders on eBay and Amazon, mainly cushion or sucker-type ones, but as dash space is pretty tight I was wondering if anyone here can recommend one that works well and won't spoil the interior of my Mini.
A spot of Googling brought up the 'Dash Genie', which I think is meant for phones but could probably be dual-purpose? Anyone used one of these?
I'd be grateful for some help!

My wife's mini has a garmin from mini with a adapter that swivels around the rev counter, might we worth asking about it at your local dealer.

I use a bracket mounted on the A-Pillar to hold the SatNav.
Its on a Tomtom magnetic mount so is easily mounted / connected.
