Hi guys,
I have looked a fair bit on this topic but can't see this variation Of the problem.
Last weekend changed front discs and pads on my 03 mcs. The light had come on dash so just changed them. When I did I found that the sensor was not yet touching the disc and had not worn at all. Actually there was life in pads yet but discs needing doing so not a wasted job. Put new ones on and hey oh the light is still on. I know the story of once the light has come on you need new sensors but these sensors have not actually come into contact with disc which makes me wonder why it came on first time.
I have tried the numerous reset procedures and they all work for about 5mins then the light comes back.
Any ideas anyone?
The backs still have plenty left so I have not touched for now.
Would unplugging sensor and plugging back in help?
Thanks again
Paul
