Hi,

I know this is possible but does anyone know somewhere that can do this? Preferably in Scotland! Well Glasgow to be exact! Lol but don't mind a drive.

Basically want to go from the orange to a blue colour....

Thanks.

Didn't want to start a new thread. But i have a gen 2 and what the exact same. Is the price still the same. I am currently at work so only having a quick look on here as you do.

If you could help that would be appreciated.. [west midlands area or DIY]

This is stunning! I too love in Glasgow and have wanted to do this since i got my first mini, Shame you guys dont do kits. Not got the money at the minute to do this, but aiming for it around December. Also fancied putting in external white door handle led's (dam i cant post urls yet! still a newb), theres lots on youtube, wonderd if essentialMini would be able to fit them at the same time. Again i live in Glasgow which is a pain. Any idea on the total cost including travel and parts etc, would give me something to aim for. I have Blue and black interior, midnight black 2nd gen cooper with matt black viper stripes. The leds would set it off a treat

Hi,

Hope you don't mind but i would rather not display a price on what essential mini charged me as what he does is unique and differs from car to car so its always best just to contact him and he will give you a quote, he is a great guy to deal with! really friendly!

I can say that if you have a second gen then it is more expensive due to more leds and labour time.

He can either travel to you or you can travel to him.

You may have to wait as he is a busy guy just now but its so worth it!!!

Best mod i have done on my mini , big thanks to mab01uk as if not for him i would never have found EssentialMINI.co.uk | "Perfection is our obsession" (http://essentialmini.co.uk/)

I know they are mcoded to each individual car but it ill give me something to practice and play with. Ill probibly give up lol but hey at least ill have tried it. Cheers

My latest thing was installing some blue led strip lighting to the footwells and centre console , this comes on and off with the normal interior lightning.

Thanks mab01uk , the picture was taken at Loch Lomond , as you will know i have had my fair share of problems with her but i don't regret a single minute of the decision to buy her , i can honestly say its the most fun car i have ever driven and an absolute pleasure at that! i just smile every time i am behind the wheel.

Its all thanks to this site! with tutorials and sound advice i have been able to create my OWN wee mini :)

Looks great, the tree sticking through the sunroof gives it that extra something but watch out for low bridges :D.
