Hi there hope someone can help.
My wife drove the Mini Cooper Petrol 1.6 on the motor way without replacing the radiator cap properly. It overheated and stopped! The garage replaced the 'Head' as it was cracked and replaced the head gasket.
They also fitted a new 'Idle Sensor' as the car would not Idle. After this I drove the car and it drives fine at speed. HOWEVER, the revs drop below 800 and it struggles to remain started. When u stop at a jumction it most likely stalls. Even when stationary if you rev a little it drops below 800 revs to between 400-500 revs and struggles to stay started.
The garage have checked the Map Sensors, changed the Throttle Body and checked the petrol tank, fuel line. Still the same.
Any Ideas please ?
