I am installing an armrest in my 2008 Clubman. I have the armrest kit where I have to take off the center console to install a large bracket over the hand brake and gear shift stick. I have removed the screwes in the front and rear cupholders, but I do not figure out how to remove the handbrake boot and the gear shift knob and boot so I can remove the entire center console. All the instructions I find online only covers the install of the new parts, nothing about removing the center console etc.
