I'm quite new to the Mini world, I'm thinking of putting a catback exhaust on to give it more sound.

Just wondering what options are there and will this cause the car to throw up error codes?

Any advise would be great. Thank you~ :p

You won't get CEL with aftermarket cat-backs (unless you change down-pipe too).

There's plenty of options: Alta, Evolve, Borla, Akrapovič, Milltek, ...
And of course JCW, but that's only rear half of the catback.

Usually it's around 2-3 HP and 5-7 NM increase, but people do it because of sound mainly :-)

what , if any are the emmissions testing concerns.

I want to do a full exhaust swap (not yet decided which one to go with) but I am thinking about state emmissions testing, and any potential issues it cause. anyone with some insight on this...I live in Texas.
