Hi all. I am Thomas, a new buyer of r50 in asia hong kong.

(first of all, please forgive my poor english...:frown:)

few days ago the ses and eml light were suddenly on when i was driving (luckily not a highway), and my mini changed to EP mode.

Took it to a garage the engineer just reset all the fault code and the car now does not have any problem. however it's no exact reason known about the eml.


i wanna to buy a cable and download a software for checking any fault code by myself. checked ebay but i m not sure which one suits my r50.

please anyone can advise/refer a product/cable (usb) (cheaper one is ok...), and the protocol of r50?

how about carsoft 6.5?
