Hi, hope someone can help!

I have an 08 mini one and it has recently developed a vibration in the steering wheel, it is there most of the time and seems worse at around 40mph.
I have the car booked in to be looked at but thought I'd see if anyone had any similar problems?
I have had someone check my wheels etc and they said they can't see any problems with tracking/balancing - suggested it must be an electrical fault?
I have the car booked into my local mini and was wondering what my chances are of getting some money off as it is not that long out of warranty and has always been serviced by mini.

Hi mate, just picked up an 57 plate cooper d yesterday and I have the same issue around 50mph, you can actually see the steering wheel juddering. Thankfully it comes with 12 month warranty but just wondered what the final outcome of yours was?

I assumed it was tracking/balancing but now you have me wondering
