Hi my mini cooper s r53 got stolen yesterday at around half 12 in the day they broke into my house while i was at work trashed my house until they found my car keys and didnt take the ps3 xbox or ipad and 4 phones in the liveingroom :/ the car has loads of extras so if anyone comes across some bits please let me no my number is 07850370643 car has full leather interior recaro heated seats chilli pack cruise control climate control all controls on steering wheel built in bluetooth with holder for iphone 4 aero body kit has full system exhaust including mani and decat has alta induction kit grs motorsport version intercooler jcw strut brace jcw door sills jcw gear lever and handbrake two addition fog lights on the front this was stolen middle of the day from coalville area in leicestershire please help if you can i will post a picture if the car now

Cheers just ****es me off my mum n dad went on holiday 2days ago and took the great dane with them and then my misses leaves the house at 11 and stolen an hour later and then been spotted later that night my mate tryed racing it thinking it was me going into leicester and he couldnt keep up only realised when he got back it wasnt me :/

At least nobody was hurt mate, these kind of people don't care who gets in the way! I am very surprised the car was seen in the same area that same day! You may be lucky and this is not an organised gang doing this and just some w**kers.

Yeah hoping it isnt stolen for order and just a joy ride but then again joy riders usually burn cars out dont they :/

Ino am totally gutte spent all my time and effort on my car i had my pulley kit turn up the same day 17% pulley starter kit with puller and 2% crank pulley for sale if anyone wants its it turned up same day my car was took and its all still in the box :/

Jesus mate, really feel for you, i know you will be insured but that doesn't pay for all the time and hard work you put in! or any extra's you have added to the car!

Just the other day i held a guy until the police came for scratching someones new porsche in a multi story car park , his only responce was, " who do they think they are driving a car like that! "

once you get the insurance/paperwork, etc all sorted out you'll find another and look back on this as a bad experience.

ps I still think the situation a bit unusual in the sense that they seem to have targeted your car, with the only intention of trashing it ? have you no recollection of rubbing someone up the wrong way recently, either on the road or elsewhere ?

No nothing im 21 so had a few miss words thrown around but nothing enough for someone to break into my house and take my car but i still think it was stolen to order but as the police was so fast acting and everyone i new and even people i didnt know on facebook new about it all over the uk an on most car forums and in the local papers and on crimewatch website and all over fast car i think it got to hot for them to sell so got rid which is a shame but hopfully getting another car end of the month when all the insurance is sorted all i can say is thank god for gap insurance otherwise would be left with a finance bill aswell best 700 i spent!

I don't understand how someone (and I know they're scum, but still...) can purposely steal a desirable car, then do something so awful to it, and almost immediately. Really boils my p*ss!

As others have said - sometimes it is better to hope that a stolen car never turns up, or turns up wrecked, rather than getting it back damaged and with the t*ts ragged off of it... but when you've spent time and money customizing or tuning a car, it isn't like you can take your insurance pay out back to the dealer and buy another car which has had the same effort put into it.

Usually you have to hope that the car has been stolen specifically, or to order, and that the thieves have parked it up somewhere waiting for the heat to die down (usually anticipating that a tracker has been installed).

In these instances, you can only hope that they've been careful with it, and that it is found parked up or garaged somewhere before they make off with it permanently.

In your case, it's irrelevant now unfortunately... but I'm quickly becoming an advocate of trackers, even with the associated costs. Depending what I buy next, and it's likely to be something fairly "nickable", I suspect I'll be stumping up the money for a tracker. It's a shame that such things are practically a necessity now, but needs must I guess!

What does it include, just a reduced pulley? The JCW has one anyway, so I'm not sure it'd be worthwhile... you'd probably be best flogging it and putting the money towards your next car if you fancy a JCW. :)

Hi yeah i was secretly hoping i didnt get it back ino bad to say but at least i didnt get it back smashed but it was painfull to see my car like this and i have a 17% reduced pulley kit and bigger crank and msd coil pack and plugs and leads and stuff so was just wondering if it would be worth while fitting it to the jcw i am getting on the weekend would it make a massive increase from the 210bhp
