Hi Guys,
So about a week or 2 ago i was driving, and all of a sudden, something smacks my windscreen, making a huge noise and giving me a fright in the process. Anyways, it flew behind me and banged and scraped to the ground.
I managed to pick the scoop up, but it was trashed. paint was all scratched, it had a dent, and all the plastic mounting clips where broken. I went to the stealers and the asked me for Eur250 :O :O :O No way i was gna pay that kind of money, so i decided to try and find a fix myself.
In the end, i decided to drill holes where the mounting points on the hood go, and bolt it down. Also, instead of respraying it, i decided to wrap it in a fake 'Carbon Fiber' vinyl. It's not perfect, but i think for now at least it's not that bad.
Attached are some pics of how it looks. I hope you like it :)
Regards,
Andrew
