Hi All

I replaced my airfilter last week but had to take the hose off the top half of the airbox to get it off. I levered the clip mechanism but now cannot get it back on for love nor money.

Does anyone know, are these single use, is there a special tool or am I missign something ?

At the moment its being held with a Zip tie as a temp measure.....

Help much appreciated!

I had this same issue , its not single use just a pain in the a** to get back on, its hard to describe but you should see a notch on the plastic where the ring goes and if i remember there is a similar one on the ring, this needs to fit inside that notch or you will never get it to lock, i think i used a flat blade screwdriver to help

Yeah seen that, I can get it hooked in but cannot squeeze the clip tight enough to get it onto the fixing mechanism.....

It is not a single use material. If it's really getting that hard to get it back, I think you already need to ask some professional or knowledgeable person personally so that they can also see the problem and respond to it immediately.
