Just got my 06 cooper s today and i noticed today that only half of the heater controls light up, i presume there is a bulb either side? If so is it easy to do as the garage i bought it off of is a fair distance away and if it is easy i will do it myself.Anyone an idiots guide?

Just had a look at an old thread on here and it says there are 2 bulbs behind and one must have gone,but................ its a real pain in the arse getting to the bulbs as you have to remove this and that and take apart the heater controls as well, took this guy about 4 hours i think.

Link below to the detailed DIY 'How to' with photos, which shows how to repair the Heater Control Panel if a bulb fails without buying a complete new panel, (also applies to Manual air-con panel but not the optional Auto Climate Control Panel type).
