Over the winter mice had nested in my mini. In order to remove the stink and try, repair damaged wiring, and find the entrance hole i had to remove interior panel trim.
A friend dropped by to help me and removed the wiring pins from the connector for the roof mounted clock - unfortunately, my frind did not record the connector details and so i do not know were they go back.
it is a six point connector and three wires.
I have checked for a wiring diagram but my manual does not cover this detail.
i though i knew the location of two of the wires and guessed at the third, no luck. in the end i have tryed all locations for the third and have not been successful so now i am doubting my initial though that i remenbered any position.
there is a good chance i have smoked the board now but i dont want to replace it untill i am confident in the connector wiring.
it would be much appriciated if somone has this year of mini and would remove thier clock and send a picture of id the wire placement and color.
the clock is removed by gently priying on the right side - no fasteners only clips.

The clock has three connections, power, ground and a control signal (to turn the display on/off).
- Pin1 of the connector is the control signal and is a grey/red wire.
- Pin 3 is the power and is a red/green wire. Power comes from F3 (5A) in the LH footwell fuse box.
- Pin4 is the ground and is a brown/black wire. The ground is connected to a ground point underneath the LH door.

Connector pin numbers are:
