Am very keen on fitting a janspeed manifold to my milltek cat back, was just wondering if there is much difference in performance/noise between the Tom-Cat pipe offered by 1320 & the Janspeed Sports Cat ?

Tbh it is mainly the increase in noise that i am after :P As long as i am not losing performance then i am not too fussed about a few hp here or there :)

A straight through pipe and a bike can on the back will give about 120db, which is about the same noise as Concorde at V1 :p and should make the neighbours windows rattle a treat at 5am in the morning.
Also to add to the noise make sure the stereo only works, on full volume, when all the windows are down. :aargh:

LOL!

Sure the neighbours would love it (Y) :P

We only made the Tom cat as the Janspeed sports cats are really good....untill about a year. Then they start to fall apart which is bad.

The sports cat is great for performanceand that is why 1320 are working to have a brand new sport cat soon.

Noise wise sports cat and de-cat are the way to go.

Wow, that is not good at all ! O_O Bit of an expensive thing to have to replace on a yearly basis :O!

Awesome :) Would certainly be interested in that =]
Definetly want to keep a cat on, because i only really use my car on the road and it will be a pain having to fit a cat everytime i am due for MOT!

Any idea if the Milltek sports cat is any more reliable ?

Ty for the reply :) Your advice is much appreciated :D

I'll keep you informed.

I have a miltek one in at the moment and it's glowing on idle so I'll let you know in the week.
