I would very much appreciate your assistance.

I have recently acquired a 2002 Mini Cooper S. The only downside with it is that it has a minidisc player/radio fitted.

I would like to keep with OEM equipment if possible. I have come up with a standard Mini Cooper front loading CD player with radio integrated, from a 2003 Cooper.

Are these two interchangable ? I have steering wheel head unit controls, will these still work with the CD player ?
