I think this is what you are looking for...

newministuff.com/new/shop.php?action=productshow&id=738

Quite expensive at £144 but the only way I know of doing it, good if you are wanting to keep your car looking standard, but at that price it seems sensible to get a new headunit!

(Sorry I can't link due to not having 15 posts)

I have just put an Aux in to my Cooper S with Harman Kardon,

It is a cheap fix that connects to the CD changer connector on the back of the head unit. I have removed my CD changer as you can't use both, but with a single CD in the dash already, I couldn't see me using the changer much with my iPod.

To find it just search "aux interface mini" on EBay. I paid £29.99 delivered. (I can't post links yet)

This only provides an aux line in for a device, not any sort of integration for skipping tracks, but for the money, provides good sound quality for me without the expensive route of full iPod integration.

Did the same thing with the AUX input. Volume does not go as loud as CD player will.

You can find all at outmotoring web site.

Sorry, can't post links either.

On a related note, any one know how to boost the volume with the AUX cable input?

Any one know of a new amp that will fit in place of the stock one? Just need a slight increase. Have already boosted the track volume play level, not as loud as I want though.

I have this one installed and it works great for iPods and just about any kind of device with a standard phone jack.
