Hi all this is a first time post so not sure if im in the right area.
I have a 2001 mini one 1.6i. Recently i noticed that the abs is not operating. I have seen now that the abs, boot open , traction control and brake warning lights do not come on at all ?

The abs does not work and none of these lights come on at all ????

Has anyone came across this problem before as i am pretty stuck. My friend was told they have water damage issues on abs units & the small BCI under dash at the bonnet pull but they dont seem to have any water damage or corrosion on pins or block connectors ?

HELP...............:puzzled:

If it turns out to be the abs unit good used ones are available here:
Mini Spares UK - Mini Spares UK (http://www.minisparesuk.com/)

But I guess it could just be a wheel sensor problem?

Nope all passive wheel speed sensors work fine. These would throw the lights on if there was a problem with one or more. My lights are not operating on the clock. ABS / TRACTION / BOOT OPEN / BRAKE WARNING lights not coming on at all, but all other lights come on fine ??? Dont think it is the abs unit itself as the tyre pressure warning light works fine and this runs off abs sensors through the abs unit itself.

Have rang local joe duffy mini in dublin for any advice and was blankly told we dont give out information and no you cant talk to a mechanic or service manager you will just have to bring car to us ??? I might as well leave a blank cheque with them also..........:aargh:

Could be a fuse? have you located and checked them? pull them out and refit, might be some corrosion on a fuse terminal seeing as its all connected with the warning lights.
