I have a 2004 mini base. My passenger side door will not unlock with the keyless entry or the switch. I have to open it manually every time. What can it be?

If all other central locking is working fine then more than likely your door actuator has gone, its common and since its the passenger side its more straight forward to fix, i fitted my passanger one in under 30 min BUT i had firstly done my drivers side so knew exactly what i was doing and since you don't have to connect the key lock its more straight forward.

The part is about £90 inc VAT from mini , if it was me i wouldn't try ebay as they sell for about £60 and thats a 5-6 year old part which is a total joke and you may end up back where you started!
