Hi,

I have recently be feeling we are not getting the best fuel consumption and the engine just doesn't seem as smooth but this could just be me!!

I recently changed my spark plugs about 2-3 months ago and when checking today they all seem black but i am no expert and these plugs may be normal so thought i would upload some pics and see if someone could advise please.

What states the air filter in? was that renewed recently too?

I am probably going to look like a fool here but oh well lol

When checking my air filter i had this one fitted..... ( not my actual filter but the exact same )

As you can see it has a big sponge part at the bottom , now as far as i can see on the net when searching for bmw mini air filter this one only shows up for the diesel engine?? i have a petrol engine, is this a concern?
