We've ordered a standard Cooper with the sport button. I noticed on a YouTube video tour of a current Cooper that there seemed to be some exhaust popping when the engine was revved. The exhaust was the standard one.

As the exhaust pop on the S is just a software setup, is it possible to have this on the Cooper?

far i'm aware it's just the cooper s that has the over-run software,also the cooper s has a different engine than the cooper..

just as a word of warning - the pop and burble on overrun on my cooper s works is Very addictive............it does every now and again 'make' me drive it like a spoon!!!

agree with the above on the S it actually sounds better than some apparent "better cars", go for an S everyday of the week!
