Hi,

I recently had head gasket work and 2 exhaust valves replaced on my 04 Cooper. Since the work was carried out the engine is now noisy and has been described as 'sounding like a diesel' - it is a petrol engine. I have been back and forth to the garage a number of times and they assure me all is ok. I would appreciate any thoughts people may have on this issue and whether there is anything I should be checking? Could the engine need tuning for example?
