Hi all, new to this forum so bare with me..

Ive got the Air bag light on in my 2006/7 mini Cooper s (does that mean its an R56?)

I took the car to my mates garage and they reset it, its came straight back on.. it says theres an airbag problem on both sides of the car and Ive whittled it down to it being the last owner installed DVD player screens in the back of the head rests on both seat and must of done something to the sensors under/in them whilst installing the cables...

So what i would like to know is which resetting tools are out there for the 2006/7 cooper s? i can see there are one's for minis/BMW up to 2004 (B200 i think) but whats out there for the later Mini's?

I've found these people selling this tool,

bavariandominator.co.uk/pages/MS509_OBD2_EOBD_Car_Fault_Code_Reader_117556-z=325059&p=33754.cfm

Has anyone used it? does it work, is it worth it?

I have also found a modular device which can just be plugged in under the passenger seat to tell the system something like to bypass the seat occupancy loop sensor and make the other airbags work agian...

airbagmodul.eu/gb/mini.html

Again, anyone used it? does it work?

Thanks in advance for your time in replying
