I have a 2002 Mini Cooper S, I've searched and found no help. My car is making a squeaking noise from what sounds like the front passenger side under the bonnet. I did a pulley and belt swap 8 months ago but this noise just started a few weeks ago. Could it be the belt even tho it's almost new? The sound isn't rpm dependant, it squeakes if I hit a hard bump, and then sometimes when I'm just sitting idleing, it sounds like chipmunks talking if that makes any sense at all. I kno my upper control arm bushings are shot, could that make that kind of noise? Engine mount? Any ideas...
