On my '08 S it does not lock or unlock with the convenient access. I have the key fob in my pocket and hold the rubber button on the door handle down for a sec and it will not lock or unlock. Now last week it would work some of the time and now it just doesn't work at all. Also when i have the key fob in my pocket the car would start all the time last week and now it is hit or miss. I replaced the battery in the key and still not working properly. Any suggestions on what to do?

if you checked the new battery with a voltmeter, then ok, otherwise, change the battery again

Do you have the 2nd key fob? If so, does it act the same way?

I have already changed the battery twice. So i am positive it is not the battery. I guess since no one on here can help i will have to take it to the dealer, I thought for sure out of all the people on here somebody would help.

It could be the receiver unit!

Thanks i will mention that to the dealer. Mine still has the factory warranty left so i am hoping that is covered.
Also do you know what the fuse # is for the convenient access?
