: Convenient access problems vetteman87 May 13th, 2012, 01:15 PM On my '08 S it does not lock or unlock with the convenient access. I have the key fob in my pocket and hold the rubber button on the door handle down for a sec and it will not lock or unlock. Now last week it would work some of the time and now it just doesn't work at all. Also when i have the key fob in my pocket the car would start all the time last week and now it is hit or miss. I replaced the battery in the key and still not working properly. Any suggestions on what to do? vetteman87 May 18th, 2012, 02:56 AM Hello? I find it hard to believe that no one has an answer. Please advice. bmwr606 May 18th, 2012, 03:44 AM replace the battery in the key fob vetteman87 May 18th, 2012, 11:32 AM replace the battery in the key fob
You must not have read my first comment. I have already done that. bmwr606 May 18th, 2012, 03:26 PM if you checked the new battery with a voltmeter, then ok, otherwise, change the battery again
scott Macguyvic May 18th, 2012, 06:36 PM Do you have the 2nd key fob? If so, does it act the same way? vetteman87 May 18th, 2012, 06:38 PM I have already changed the battery twice. So i am positive it is not the battery. I guess since no one on here can help i will have to take it to the dealer, I thought for sure out of all the people on here somebody would help. vetteman87 May 18th, 2012, 06:39 PM Do you have the 2nd key fob?
