Morning guys,
Recently bought myself a cooper s 53 plate as a bit of a project really!
I remember my dad bringing one home from work when they first came out and took me for a spin and loved it. Was half expecting to be disappointed when I test drove one to not to live up to my 13 year old teenage memory.
But how wrong could I be! What a great car, it's got power, it's got handling, it's got noises to make you keep going back for more!!!
I have been in VW scene for a while with a mk1 golf which I fitted and tuned a polo G40 supercharged 1.3. Which ran 152bhp. My mini puts as much of a smile on my face!
Long term aims is to have it on the track within a year... But we are in a recession so I'm being realistic... maybe 18 months.
Short term there will be mods coming up so I will keep posting so those who would like to read can enjoy :-)
It didn't look fantastic on purchase as I picked it up cheap... Once I work out how to post pics from an iPad I will show you the before pics...
Within a week I have made cosmetic changes... Checkerboard roof removed, dodgy interior mats changed, tape deck whipped out...
Now I'm just looking out for bargains in the parts I am looking for!!! I'm like a magpie when I comes to cars so hopefully I will find some bits of interest to you guys!!!
