Hello there,

I'm a newbie to these forums & new to the world of Mini's as I have just bought a 2004 MCS in Pure Silver.... I love the car but I can't decide whether to have the roof sprayed black or leave as silver (the mirrors are already chrome). My wife would like to have the silver/black union jack on the roof but I'm not so sure... I've tried searching for a picture without success, would anyone here have a picture they could post?

I'm thinking about having the roof rack fitted but I'm a little uneasy about the roof being drilled, would anyone be able to recommend an aftermarket one that can happily take a roof box?

I'm also going to have the run flats removed... will this cause any problems with the tyre pressure sensors?

It's always fun buying a new car, especially if it a Cooper S :)

with regards to removing the run flats don't worry , your run flat system will still perform as normal as its part of the ABS and not the actual tyre.

I can't help on the roof rack but maybe some of the others users can help you out :)
