Hi, Im new to this forum so sorry if ive posted this in the wrong section :/

Im looking at buying a mini cooper with a budget of around £6000.
I have a few questions that ive looked all over the internet for and am just confussing myself! I never realised how many different models and 'packs' there are!!

Firstly, What is the difference between the packs I can get e.g. Media, Chilli, Pepper. Also do these come out yearly or what? And if so what years have they come out in :S

Secondly, I really REALLY want a red mini with two toned red seats. Can some one PLEASE explain to me why some minis have these coloured seats and some don't.

Thirdly, Are there any common faults on mini coopers on 2005 plate onwards.

Any help you give me would be much appreciated as I really don't know much at this stage. Many Thanks

Seat trims, option packs, colour combos are all customer choice when ordering the car new, they say no 2 MINI's are the same because theres so many variations you can have.
Sports seat option with Rooster Red trim gives you the red/black seats, dont think theres currently a 2 tone red done.
They also make/made limited addition models that come with lots of extras included in the price, as you say theres so many variations.
Most of the upper range cars have the chili pack fitted as it comes with lots of goodies for the price.
For 6 grand you should be able to pick up something quite decent, just go and look at some and pick one take takes your fancy, you can even get an eyelash kit for the headlights, but they dont do them in pink paintwork as standard.
